Trey and Jaime met their freshman year (2016) at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where they sat next to each other in Rock n' Roll FYE class. They lived in the same dorm, and would often visit with each other at the campus coffee shop, or take late night trips to cookout for milkshakes.

Trey and Jaime went their separate ways after freshman year of college, but remained in touch.

After a three year hiatus, in January 2020 Trey visited Jaime back at LR, where she was competing in her senior dual swim meet. The two went out for dinner and drinks in downtown hickory that night, and the rest was history.

Since then, the two have spent the last four years chasing adventure and building lifelong memories. Some of their favorite memories include their trip out west, several trips to Tennessee, Florida, Caribbean cruise, numerous concerts, NC State football games, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and spending quality time together.

They have big dreams to visit all 50 states and 63 national parks together.
